These words are the questions, connections, interests, and complaints of Sumner Nelson, based largely on an almost daily perusal of the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, along with other media and informative sources of curious motivation. The web is wonderful for the instant gratificaiton of replying to authors/pundits/officials. I include those replys here, along with versions of my own interpretations of reality.
Let me give the disclaimer that I commonly find myself giving during a lively disagreement with a respected conversationalist. I am not a medical doctor, nor an attorney, nor a politician, nor a Democrat, nor a Republican. I am a professional airline pilot, a web developer, an investment manager, and a part-time law enforcement officer. I have been a scientist, an engineer, a financial analyst, and an entrepreneur. My economic, financial, and social interests generally conform to the “Chicago school of economics”, where coincidentally, I received a graduate education in finance and accounting.
While I am not an expert, I claim American deliberative standing as a twelveth generation immigrant from England. I read what I can and interpret situations based on more than a half a century of surviving life’s puzzles. And after that, I often enjoy writing about them.
Additionally, I’m not writing for you the anonymous reader. Frankly, you’re not paying me. I am. So you can stop reading right here if you’re possessive, because I’m writing this for me. Otherwise, let the game begin.
